Hallo nomisman,
We’re aware that the ongoing economic situation in Greece and the implementation of capital controls may be significantly impacting your eBay business.
We’ll do our best to make sure you can continue to trade on eBay. So until 15 August 2015, you won’t need to make any payments to us. You’ll still receive invoices as usual, but we won’t put any restrictions, holds or suspensions on your account due to unpaid balances during this time. We’ll continue to monitor the situation after this date.
That means you should be able to continue selling as usual. However, we also realise you may be experiencing issues receiving payments from your buyers affected by the Greek capital controls. If you wish to cancel a transaction with a buyer who is unable to pay, you are able to do so as usual through the option “cancel order”. Any fees incurred will be automatically credited.
Please note that if your account was already subject to a hold, restriction or suspension prior to the economic crisis, this won’t change. Your ability to sell would continue to be limited or restricted.
As always, thanks for selling on eBay and we look forward to resuming normal operations soon.
Regards,
The eBay team
